Ok, so I decide to do a "day trip" to Chicago to take my 10 year old daughter to the American Girl Doll store (if you don't know...this is akin to MM obsession but plastic dolls for young girls...).

The trip goes well, though I lost 2 hubcaps (winter tires & cops car wheels covers) on the trip? Apparently, the cheap plastic hubcaps I purchased several years ago could not withstand consistent 80 MPH speeds...who knew?

Also, my oil pressure gauge pod light went out some time in Indy so thats on my "to do" list now. But overall, I was so pleased at how well this big Ole Merc (now 10 yrs old) performed...even 24 MPG.

These are great cars!

Funny you mention the oil gauge light. My battery gauge light is a lot brighter than my oil pressure gauge.

Oh man... the American Girl store. My 7-year old daughter is crazy about those things. She keeps talking about the next one she wants to get, she has two so far. They're not cheap either! I'm trying to steer her interests in a more *ahem* useful direction but it's not working yet!

I have green LEDs that you can use instead of the incandescent bulbs.
