Only those from the earlier days would know all that went on. I personally went back and read some archived threads. I do find it weird someone got banned for not having bed side manners. Certainly im sure i dont know the whole story but learned enough.

It will be great to see this car again.

I'd rather have dick jokes than all the political banter that goes around including the clear disrespect for the President. Like him or not, he is still the President and that role alone dictates some respect. But that's just me.

On the other side, I miss Zack on here as well. Dude always has a joke in his back pocket, and a tidbit of knowledge to drop in every conversation. He's a good man, can't wait to see him in a couple of weeks.

From my understanding....and I've only been here since 07, he pointed out that a friend of (some) of the owners of the site was dishonest in his business practices. (some) of the owners banned him because it was easier than admitting that their friend wasn't being completely honest in his business practices....until the tide of evidence overtook the forum, but in the meantime Zack spoke his feelings (got pissed and told some off....very colorfully) and they unwittingly made a martyr out of him.

Zack responded like so many would when they feel they got the shaft. He isn't allowed back with his vast knowledge of the car, but others who have received "lifetime" bannings are back. The reason he only got banned from this site, as I see it, was because the owners of other sites didn't have a conflict of interest with friendship.

I live about 35 miles from Zack and wish my busy life afforded me the opportunity to visit him more. I need to make more time dammit. I wouldn't say he's the "coolest", I'd say it's more like "humble". Who else does what he does for people he has hardly met or doesn't even know, drops his plans and helps those out? Certainly not someone behind a keyboard pushing buttons. :twocents:

One of the things I like/respect most Zack for he has no problem pointing out what could be wrong with a product or whatever & stupid thing he gets treated like he is attacking the company or product when in fact he is simply doing whatever it is to help the MM community. How many here over the years has he helped & asked for nothing in return??? 100+ Id guess. IMO he is a nicer person then me or others I know cause if we got treated the way he did for simply helping us average normal folks I for one wouldnt take it lying down. Zack= win besides he is a cool mofo to b around lol.

I never have met Zack, but I agree with what he has done to help with MM community. I have what may well be the one of one Mesh Grill he has made -- If I was living close to him there is no doubt I would visit him for help based on what I have heard over the years.

I find him similar to another friend of mine--TAF--who suffered the same end result as Zack---they are similar but different--one has an eminence knowledge of motors --the other an eminence knowledge of networking contact of folks with the same knowledge---yet the same when it comes to standing their ground on what their feelings are on a subject and stating it --period--which has in most all cases far has I know----been correct--so there it is in a nut shell so to speak.....

Miss them==yeah---for me I have been able to meet one --TAF several times over the years since getting the kick--and he is still my # one guy--for it was him who got me so involved and informed.....carry on--

Got a clarification from Zack.

He's getting some valve float in the mid to upper rpm range which is limiting hp. In Zack's own words, "When I get the valve springs replaced, the power will SOAR!"
