That is a good deal . . . If I get those, I'll let you guys have the extra 299 for $16,875 ? ;)

Lol, the guy with 300 of them is saying shipping included !
I guess for $17,000 (for something that some agency probably took $10 apiece for, out the back door, just to get rid of) he'll be happy to throw them in a U-Haul and drive them wherever you want ;)
But yes, shipping is the whole problem - you can get them cheap, but shipping is prohibitiveon something like this. That's why I'm looking for one or two that I can pick up locally.

Go to any local Police Department (that uses Crown Vics as its primary patrol unit) with a box of doughnuts and speak to the garage manager. Ask him if you can have the one that's in the next wrecked CV. I bet you can get it for free (or for the cost of the doughnuts).
DEFYANT

LOL....
Could also be used by hunters.
Could possibly be used as a feed trough for cattle, if securely mounted in a trough frame or on a wall.
Could also be used to raise various aquatic life.
Would function well as a large planter, if holes were drilled in the bottom to allow drainage.

These are not as common as you would think, they were an extra-cost option that none of the agencies around here went for IME.

Yes, the secret's out - once I get one of these I'll be raising big-time aquatic life :)

Hey So..... thanks for bringing these awesome puppies to my attention. I payed too much and snagged one from ebay. Came to just shy of $200 with shipping. As you could easily guess it fits and looks nice in a marauder trunk.

They are definitely used with minor scuffs, and plexiglass covers are also scuffed. IMO nothing you can't buff to perfection if you are so inclined. Don't get me wrong the main liner is TOUGH. It was shipped without packaging and seemed fine. Oh there is a Kevlar liner clipped to the back by the cabin wall. Guess that's so a discharging gun in the organizer won't kill a passenger or driver.
Please go to the ebay page for details.
So I wrote the fellow and he is willing to do a group buy of 5 units for $155 each. PM me if you are interested. Once I'll have 5 takers I'll figure out payment method. Probably paypal. This is mainly a NYC area thing as they are BIG and shipping will be a PITA. So pickup options can be from my home in northwest queens, or I can bring units to Carlisle. Your choice.
Just to be explicit, I am not making a cent, nor do I work with this guy, just organizing a group buy as a thanks for all the great folks here. And for posting this.

I'm glad you like it. They're much handier on a day-to-day basis than the Marauder trunk organizer IMO.
Is that going to be $155 total, or $155 plus shipping ? (I've been trying to find one in my area that I can buy FTF because of the shipping.)

155 total to pick up! That's the win (or at least not quite so lose)

Bumpy bumpy. Good news the 5 pack of trunk organizers is listed on ebay, so if anyone wants to do a regional group buy they can. He lowered the price $10 to $145.

I'd think Odinson would buy the lot of five, and then five people would each buy one from him ?

That's correct. Just tell me. If I can get 5 commitments I'll buy the five and ship them to myself. So now I've got 2. :banana2: I think I'll just spot the money and do cash on pickup. It that's OK.
Pickup is either Carlisle or my place by appointment.
Please PM me your cell number and real name to commit. When it's a go I'll text you when they arrive.
I'm pretty stoked I can actually do something useful around here. :burnout:

The Kevlar lining was installed to protect the fuel tank from the trunk's contents during rear impact.

Cool good to know.
Still waiting on three more commits. AFAIK this deal won't expire, so I'll keep watching.
Here's some junk in the trunk.
