Hi all!!

i will be in the mrket for new rear tires before Atlanta. I am currently running NT555 295/45ZR18 on 9 1/2" wide wheels. 4.10 rear, 31 spline axels, ADCO bars front and rear, billet rear control arms, Bear brakes, about 450+RWT.

Am looking at a direct replacement NT295/45 and a NT555r in 305/35ZR18, and 305/45ZR18. I am concered about the 305 fittiing the rear.

Any suggestions or recomendations anyone may be willing to share will be GREATLY appreciated

I am the only Marauder on the beach (Outer Banks of NC). There only 2 ways off the beach that is two bridges. The local LEOs enjoy keeping me company. What's a fella to do?

I am in Charlotte NC. and I understand your pain. I will be at Zmax drag way Saturday so seeing 125 - 135mph will be allowed.

Here's what I run:
Bridgestone 970's up front and Nitto 420S out back. It does very well.

They are touchy when cold or wet. Otherwise good daily drivers, as long as the car is pointing in a straight line when accelerating. If you are making a turn from being stopped at a traffic light, and give it too much throttle, it can get bent out of shape easily. The Trilogy supercharger gives great low end torque. I am considering Nitto NT555 or 555R, if I cannot find something better. Drag radials will likely not give the tread life I want.

This is a problem I see as well. The car is a pain with side winds at highway speeds, needing a lot of steering correction. I didn't realize the 420's were possibly causing this.
I do love the Bridgestone 970's though. I wish they may something I could use in the rear too.

You have three options to correct the problem on the sled.
Tire with a stiff sidewall.
Larger 19" or 20" wheel & low profile tire.
Better than oem upper & lower control arms.
