I found an interesting review of our car on a GM website. The guy is a Cadillac man and of course draws all of his conclusions based on that. I'll admit, I carry a soft spot for Cadillac and have owned a couple. I worked for Cadillac for years and have driven everything from base model cloth interiored DeVilles to the first CTS-V coupe with a manual transmission to come out of the factory. He keeps comparing our cars to the Seville. I'm not sure if he's referring to the late 90's early 00's Seville or the STS of '05 on. If he's referring to the later model STS, he's right to compare the two, it was the most similar of the Cadillacs I drove to our car. If he's referring to the Seville STS/SLS of the late 90's, he's dead wrong in his conclusions on power. :bs:
At the end of the day, I think we all know which car is preferred. :D
Forgive me if this is a repost, I was gone for a year.

Fun read. Nice to get a perspective different from the elites that are in the car mags.

That was my car he drove. I met Jesda back in 2006, early in our Cadillacowners.com days. He's a great guy that's been writing great reviews as long as I've known him.

And he was referring to the 98-04 Sevilles, not the 05+ models. He's had several of the 98-04 STS, they're a favorite car of his.

That's the first Blue Marauder I have ever seen that doesn't have the clock radio in the center of the dash.

I figured the owner was a member here as he linked to our site in the article. I'm not trying to bad mouth the guy, it was a good read and that's why I posted it. Does your car have any mods done?

Good read. All of the reviews I remember reading were all generally good even when the Marauder first came out (Autoweek, Motor News or whatever). But I think with the lack of frequent and wide spread advertising, not many knew about the car even then. Even in its stock form, I think it could have sold better. There were promises of more performance down the line in future years but more performance packages from the factory would have really helped create a lot more excitement and converted a few more sales. And as I've seen with the Chargers, a halo car can bring the people in even if they walk out with only the basic model.

None of the DBP Marauders will have the clock in the center of the dash, as all DBP's were 300B's.

Nope, bone stock.

I really need to race something with a Northstar, see how they line up against the Marauder. I do believe they have better top end power, atleast the 300hp version. I'm sure the 275hp version wouldn't keep up with a Marauder.
