Welcome to the site!
Let's see some pics of your MM - Was she purchased from a MM.net member?
I'll let other members of the collective comment on the S55 treatment.

There is no official "S55" package from the factory for the '03-'04 Marauder. It stemmed from a prototype model that itself was a throwback to the 60's vintage Marauders with the same package name.
Where the Marauder community has picked the moniker up to continue the namesake is exactly as L.Mark has described it: a special paint treatment done to the tail lights and reverse lights. Specific details can be found through a site search in regards to which portions in particular are painted to match the body color, if you are having trouble visualizing the description in your head.

Your car is not set up in the modern S-55 motif but from a quick glance is badgeless, meaning someone has removed he front 'waterfall' badge and filled in the teeth with full one's.
There was an S-55 option available on the old 60's cars or it had something to do with the engine, can't remember.
Our resident expert on the old Marauders is Kirk, screen name Kirk. If you are unbelievable patient there are some threads that explain the old meaning v. the new but search function is hard to use.
We are having a meet in NH in early Aug and would love for you to come.
