I get a shutter on the highway when traveling about 60. I hear this is normal is this a sign of whats to come or is it normal?

Might be the torque convertor locking up. Try driving at that speed with the O/D off.

Check our tranny fluid.

I get a shutter on the highway when traveling about 60. Torque converter clutch shudder happens when the car is travelling around 40 MPH with light throttle application. It also goes away when the brake is tapped or when you accelerate enough to force a downshift. Shuddering at 60 on the highway is going to be either a misfire or a vibration due to something being out of balance.

You are getting torque converter shutter. Change the trans filter & fluid use Mercon V
