Tranny upgrade?

Has anyone heard anything about a 5 or 6 speed upgraded Transmission? I really don't want to change the gears in the rear end as I drive over 150 miles a day. But I would enjoy the benefits of having a few more gears for quicker acceleration.

Ford puts a 5 speed auto in the Explorer Sport Trac behind the 4.0 V6...wonder if it could be adapted to a 4.6 V8 and how much power could it handle.hmmm.

Dennis R. has a great trans. kit for you that should help alot. Call him.
Also the 410 rear end adds only another 350rpm in 4th gear at 80mph.
