I am the new Owner of an 04 MM, will close the deal this week ! I bought the the car knowing it has 212,000 miles, but it should be a great start as the interior and exterior are in perfect condition. One downside ! At startup you have the 4second timing chain noise. I bought it knowing that I will rebuild this motor later. All highway miles female sales rep. I am hoping that by changing oil to Mobile 1 and using the correct Motorcraft filter I can put the rebuild off to later and start planning on how I want to build it. Any insight on the Noise would be appreciated. Looking forward to the Journey. :help::help::flamer:

Welcome to the demented madness that is Marauder. At last count there are four of us in kentucky around about the same area. You must make time to at least pop in to the Louisville meet and join the rest of us "DOOMed" newbies...Drop me a line and we'll meet up, I'm in the Mt Washington/Louisville area. Maybe We can drag Mike's and Embassy's a$$ out as well.

Welcome to the site. Hope you make it to the meet.
I would not just change oil & filter & go unless your a all time every day winner @ the cassino. That would only invite trouble & possiable major engine damage should timming go bad due to condition. [Stat] Pull the front cover & replace the tensonors & giudes. Look to vendor Sparta or MMR.
