I know of a few cars on other Panther sites have done this before but has anyone done this to their Marauder? I happened to find a reasonably priced low mileage transmission out of an 04 Mustang GT and with my transmission having issues lately, this seems like a potential option for me.
So if you've got them, post them up! I'd like to hear your thoughts and comments on this. Thanks in advance!

Thoughts, its full power potential is rated for stock GT. Taking weight into consideration, and ever planning to upper the HP then you are risking it. Also keep in mind it's had some issues with the skip shift, that may be irrelevant since you are using the stock PCM.
You will have eight various automatic trans codes that will need to be taken offline thru a tune.
Your speedo will read exactly double (can simply be recalibrated in the tune on the dyno)
It's an hydraulic TOB, have fun, god knows I did..
To keep your pinion angle you can't reuse your crossmember.
I could be wrong but it may be a fixed flange like my 6060, if so you will need a telescoping driveshaft.
You will also have to raise your tunnel like I did to accommodate the under mount shifter, after you have shortened up the support linkage and the shifter linkage.
I think that's all. Unless you have a very mechanical mindset, stay automatic..

TR3650's are very stout and under rated tranny's. I know a few locally that are behind 500-600hp mustangs that run slicks and regularly 60' 1.5-1.6.
The 3650 that was in our 01' Before we did a full Terminator drivetrain swap was great. It had 114k miles of really hard driving. Sold it to a guy that put it in his 96 GT. Its still running today and the trans has over 150k now.
T-45's are icky.
Its not a fixed flange, has a yoke. Also NOT hydraulic. Its cable actuated.

I had no idea they were cable driven? Did they change it up on the newer years? Because there is a difference in the spring arrangement on the pedal assemblies and IIRC the comparison photo I looked at from a GT to a 500 both were hydraulic??

00-04 Cable, 05+ Hydraulic TOB. Forgot to mention that. It does change by year.
Easiest swap would be to use a 00-04. Same trans they also put in the Mach's
