Does the car run at all? Will it run and drive enough to load onto a truck or trailer?
Aonghus

No. Its probably going to have to be winched onto a trailer ultimately.

What happened when it developed the engine problem or do you know what the problem is exactly?

Two separate issues.
First, engine started running rough the summer before. A trip to the dealership said the code indicated that the engine needed new ignition coils and that the work involved would run about $2500 at dealer rates. Their inspection actually cleared up the problem, and it ran well for another year, developed the same problem and idled rough going into the winter. Then the heater stopped working, so I had to let her sit throughout the winter, and in spring would not start, even with charged battery.
I havent had it checked out further since I havent had the cash to fix what I know is wrong with it. It is of course possible more work is necessary to get it running. Whoever is interested is welcome to have somebody they trust check it out in detail.

Okay, one more try... Friggin forum logged me out.....GRRR. I cant seem to get the photos to post in the thread, so a link to a slideshow is below. Apologies for the image quality, all I had available today was my phone. I was wrong about the mileage, its 123k.
Outside shots. Super dirty. Shes been sitting out for over a year. Lines in dirt are from neighbor kids touching the car when it rains. External issues include broken front left fog lamp, crack in windshield, a few paint chips from back bumper cover and a few minor door dings. Interior issues include wear spot in drivers side carpet and inside of console box separated from outside of console box, coin holder broken.

Worth the asking price if your local to it. 2k+ to ship this car to Ohio. And.... if the OP accepts my offer, it will be mine.

It sounds like it needs new coils and a HVAC control. Are new coils that expensive, $2500 for new coils sounds a bit much.
The HVAC is only a couple of hundred ...
Maybe I missing something here.

If the car overheated..... it can be a major issue. Without seeing it in person and doing some kind of diagnosis, it is a roll of the dice. I figured the worst, pull the heads and go from there, if it indeed won't run.

My offer is still good............
We were in. Problem is that it would cost pretty close to a grand to get back here. Great deal at 3500. 4500 not so much.

Dont tell anybody, but I actually misted up a little bit when it was loaded on the tow truck. Almost as bad as having to put my dog down...
The good news is, shes in good hands, and will be well taken care of :)

Completely understandable. I once wrecked my 80 toronado when I was 19 or 20 and cried like a baby, I was so pissed at myself for what I did to my baby. Used to wax that sucker weekly.......
