1.)Is there a paper instruction manual that is supposed to come with the SCT? My SCT from Lidio didn't have one.:dunno:
2.) I have the Lidio tune installed and started the car today to let it run for a while...:blah::blah::blah: , is the rev limiter set at 4500 rpm whilst in park? Noted the needle bounced off at 4500. Does that also mean the limiter is set at 4500 when it's in gear? Like I noted above no instruction manual and yes FBM I googled SCT and found no downloadable PDF for the tuner;)

Highly dought the rev limiter under a tune would be set at 4500 rpm while in park. I do know I would never race the motor while not under load it achieves nothing.

The rev limiter should be in effect if your in PARK or not.
4500 RPM is way too low.
Could be your tach is on it's way out.

Thanks for the linky. Now I need to see which one I have and print a hardcopy.
Was just messing with the throttle while idling and noted i wouldn't go above 4500.
Supposed to be nice tomorrow so I'll fart around with it.:)

Ford sets the rev limiter to 3000 on most vehicles now when they are in PARK. I have a Mo tune on mine and just went outside and guess what, 4500 rev limit in park and my car runs great. Take it out and I'm sure in DRIVE it will run fine😃

Why the hell do you want to rev it that high in park?

Most tuners will set the rev limiter in park lower.
