2013 Hot Rod Power Tour - Ark members

For you Arkansas members, the 2013 Hot Rod Power tour is passing your way in June 2-4. Texarkana to Memphis with a stop in Little Rock.

Three of us from MM.net are joining the tour at the beginning, Arlington, Texas and riding all the way to the east coast.

Here is the itinerary . There are several active members along the I-30 corridor. It would be cool to have a group of Marauders ride together or meet and greet between these points in Arkansas.

looking at mapquest it says the way from chattanooga to concord you half to pass atl then greenville nc (right pass rex house) then concord. i might catch up somewhere befor or at rex if he wants to join

Iam planning to join along in Memphis & go till Birmingham, then it,s off to Gulf Shores for a week of R-R & lots of fishing. Although wont be in my MM but in my 2012 Stang GT. Ill be sure to look you all up in Memphis though. :beer:

Let me get bthrough the next 10 days of work and I will be able to plan a little better......FYI - I-40 from Little Rock to Memphis is a ridiculous construction mess....word of caution!!

They often run the Tour on less congested side routes.

Usually rock or shell covered roads to help cure the paint and chrome.

Pat, I'm going to try to make it up there, too. I've got to be back in Houston on Wednesday, so I'm not sure how long I can stick around, but I'm going to try to do a bit of it. Probably NOT bringing the Marauder though.

Pat looks like I'm going to try and catch the Tour on Sunday somewhere around Mineola or Quitman. I'll go on up to Texarkana and then Monday go up around Hot Springs and then head back home. I hope to see you guys somewhere along the way.

I hate to say this but my parents who are nearing 80 are coming to town for their annual pilgrimage from WV to AR and won't be leaving until Tuesday evening. I am out on the tag along from Texarkana to Memphis.....bummed. Happy to see my parents though, there will be other Tours through Little Rock/Memphis again soon enough. Post many pics!!
