Well I finished the headlights and coated them with Upol clear and they turned out great! Just have a question for the guys that have done this: did u polish the upol after it was cured then use a protective vinyl or just put the vinyl on once the headlights are cured?

i did not polish afterward and they look great. i have not put the vinyl on. not sure if i will. if they last i'll do them again in a few years. if not i'll recondition again then pony up. i think xpel is pretty pricey for 2 stupid pcs of vinyl. just my .02

There is a guy on Ebay that sells vinyl I bought for a 12" by 36" roll it was like 8.99$ plus shipping.

xpel package covers headlights foglights and corner lights....50 bucks is cheap insurance that keeps all of the above protected from discoloring and cracking in the long run and it protects from kicked up rocks from other motorists and theres a 5 year warranty

Baconbit I would have let you do mine in L-Ville. Practice.

Barry its actually really nice doing it and seeing the results. I put the vinyl on today on one headlight and it was way harder than my foglights! Kinda looked like crap when I got done. Gonna let it set for a few days and see how it is but might be taking the vinyl off then just clear coating then waxing over that.
