They've never once looked under mine? Wouldn't matter if they did, mostly.. I have a DS safety loop but not within 6" of front u joint, more like a foot. Also my helmet is expired I believe, and don't forget the last requirement Dom, a fire jacket.

Lol I'm quite sure you would slaughter my beater now! I'm looking into a Yukon gear 4.11. A little more pricey, but looks to be a very stout gear. Nothing like fear in nailing now.. :( way too much torque at 2500, more so when applied by a twin disc clutch instead of a slipping ass converter!! Could you imagine the implosion I would have at 5000?? HELLO over 500 rwtq, north of 2 tons, release line lock, snap the clutch! I will definitely be rolling gently off the line and probably street tires unless I decide to get a trailer to back me up. I'll just have to play catch up with the extra gearing. I couldn't image that tow bill? :eek: Having a trailer at least I could play VERY hard and careless. I could give a rats azz if I break stuffs at that point..

I may have to fire sell my old girl if I don't get some good news quick. :( Got my MRI done yesterday, my crushed disc has been pushed half way into my spinal cord and looks like surgery is inevitable now.. Left foot and calf have been numb for a month now from pinched nerves, I won't even bother going into the pains associated. This means multi thousands of dollars in loss of work, and very possibly no job to come back to in my profession. At least I had a fun couple year stretch with my baby. Is what ever is, my family is the only thing I can't replace. I could always build a bigger, better, track monster, but it would never be the same car. :sad:

Holy crap Bob, I hope you all the best. If you need a trailer before you fully decide to throw in the towel, rent a U-Haul and I will borrow Beckys truck and haul your car there just to be safe... and I will not give you crap for it. :)

Last time I teched in at Da Grove, I rolled in with my street radials, so they gave me a hard time about the lack of loop. They can hear the blower now and aren't stupid about it. I know they can be the ones to get in serious trouble. I know I know I know. I have a helmet, but I lack the correct sticker.

US 41 is the only place I can run with my current setup. I don't have a race car, I have a STREET CAR. Muhahaha. ;) They don't care about anything there, that's why I love it and make my fastest runs there too. Plus gas is cheaper. Last I check Da Grove kept raising their admission price to race. This is why I prefer to do racing off of the track. The track costs money, the street makes you money. Shhhh don't tell anyone. :burnout:

Damn Bob I didn't know you had back injury! I have the same thing, three bad disc's and they also want to operate. I've refused so far, So get shots in both sides of my spine which isn't working. I'm taking 325 MG Hydrocodone 3 morning, three at night, Naproxen 500Mg two in morning and two at night, Cyclobenzaprine 10 mg 4 times per day! Working? nope. Issues with back and left leg, Right leg better now after micro surgery on torn Ligament. In next week or so will have to have operation to take lymth node to check for cancer! Have some that are growing! Why? AUGGGGGG
So if ya saw me limping around Louisville now ya know why. Hell we'll have some hospital stories to tell!!!!!!

Jeez sorry to hear Bob. If you need any help lifting crap to move it around just let me know if you do have to go to surgery I'm close. Hope you get feeling better soon.

No offense, but your no spring chicken Bob (still younger than me). I was just off for 6 months with shoulder surgery. Not gonna lie, it sucked (financially and otherwise). You made a good point about your family. I love my toys but it doesnt matter how fast or bad ass your toy is if your health is in the toilet. Dont be a stubborn @$$ like me, take care of your health or it will come back to bite you eventually.

I can't race yet, the LSE is the only vehicle that is road worthy rite now.
After I blew up the Marauder last season < I promised myself I would have a back up vehicle before I race again.
