good to hear. I was thinking something might have happened but perhaps he is just taking a self-imposed sabbatical from mm.net. I think I know why... but just want to make sure he's doing well healthwise & family-wise

Boo hoo.
Sorry, I like Charley and you as well Paul, never a bad experience in person or on here. In fact I have had some good times chatting with Charlie. I have made lifelong friends here and I for one am going to talk to them just as I would in person, not like a question and answer only discussion regarding 03-04 Marauders.
If this place was that dull, it would be renamed MotorCity.... Is that site even still on? It's like a ghost town.
Funny I keep hearing of "what do the newbies think". Last I heard/saw Louisville set a new record this year regarding new members within the last year! Guess some were wrong.
Keep it relaxed, we live and work in a world comprised mostly of people with poles Jammed in their ass as it is. We need a break sometimes, and this place is as close to home as some of us can get.
Peace.

I've been around here a while, and float in and out.
There's my other 3 cars to think about, plus 3 sonny boy's assorted cars.
(Careful what you wish for, I have 3 sons that have cars ranging from a Model T to a Marauder to a Contour SVT etc...)
So enjoy your time here and don't ignore the rest of your life.
I'm sure Charlie agrees.

Contour SVT?! If I didn't have a kid trying to keep up with Ms.D and I a few years ago zipping around NH speedway I would have said you were trippin on Everglades 'shrooms. Never even knew they made them til we talked to this kid and he told us about them. Must be a pretty rare car.
Charlie averaged 5.31 posts per day. He has not posted in 32 days thus he owes the membership 170 posts.
It will be interesting to see what subjects Charlie choses to comment about when he discharges this obligation. There are approximately 65 forums on this site. A couple of posts in each forum would ease his debt load considerably.
I believe that Charlie likes statistics so there they are.
An example would be, "Pat sell that rust bucket to me for $8.00", posted twice in every forum, with variations of course.

I couldn't agree more. This site has gotten me through hardships such as a one year lay off, and my wife's nasty bought of Breast cancer, plus the complications brought on by it. These are the two biggies, not even gonna bore you with the day to day.
Not only did it get me through, but friends here call or text for even more support. I could also build my car to focus on good things. My car was bone stock five years ago, till my wife was entered into the hospital and it all became very real. After four years of loving it the way it was, I needed to focus on something, enter modding.
I love this site just the way it is, and have no bad blood with anyone. When I get annoyed by something I don't open it, I move to the next. I truly mean it when I say family.

Charlie's reasons are his and his alone. I'm not going to persuade or dissuade him from coming back. I hope he still lurks and reads because I want him to know there are people who care and wish nothing but the best for him.
If he's reading this I hope to catch up with him at the MaiBock meet or Berts run.

I just need to know in advance so i can line up the shop, as well as know when to let the next in line know when they can get theirs...So let me know when you think you'll be ready. Preferably a week in advance if possible, or at least as soon as you can.

That was my MM's garage mate for the first three plus years that I had my MM. Was even more fun on a road course, Especially pissin' off the $70K Cobra R's, They may leave you in their dust in the straightaway, but they couldn't see the SVTContour's grille in their rear view mirror, coming out of the corner ! :D

Very true!
I've had 3 of them! Not quite as rare as a Marauder, but close.
