The most AMAZING thing just happened. Per most of ya'll suggestions and comments regarding air suspension vs coil spring swaps, I decided to do a little investigating into my Marauder. As most of ya'll know, I just purchased it and haven't even driven it on the road yet (myself). So, tired of seeing the rear end all sagging (including a flat left rear tire), I crawled under car and inspected fittings and air hose connections as well as sensors and stuff. All looked connected etc. So, for fun, I decided to see if the Air Suspension switch was on or off. Of course it was off! SO, I took the tire to a tire store to replace the leaky valve stem. Once I got the car back on the ground, I flipped it on and started the car. GUESS WHAT? The suspension pumped right up and the car is sitting like it should!!!! UNBELIEVABLE! I will post back in a couple hours to see if it stays that way.:sing::cool5::woohoo:

Did that on my LSC one time. Had some work done and I alway turn it off not trusting most shops. The car got lower and lower and I got madder and madder. Till I got in to drive it one day and saw the beautiful yellow air suspension light on. I gigled like a school girl....which I never do... Hope it stays afloat!!!

Well, still up! From my primitive three finger measurement, it hasn't dropped at all. We will see in the am. I did notice that the passenger side is slightly higher, almost 4 fingers, lol. I think either way, I am gonna get up early and drive her over to Ford for a quick oil change and their "inspection" and see if they notice anything I might have overlooked and head on to work in my MARAUDER!!!! :banana2:
BTW, with a 9 year old Marauder with 71k on it and NO owners manual, what kind of oil should be put in it? 5w, 10w? 20,30 or 40 weight?

Do ya'll ever recommend adding any additives to the oil, like Lucas?

1. Open hood
2. Look on oil filler cap
5W-20 is recommended; quite a few people go with something different, though. Someone posted a downloadable pdf version of the owners manual a while back...that's how I got mine. Maybe do a search for 'owners manual' to find it.
The air suspension vents itself when the car is not in use, so if your car looks low in the morning, that doesn't mean it's broken. The ride height sensor may need to be adjusted, based on your preference of ride height.
Good luck...

Cool, off to Ford in the AM and have them do a oil change and inspection. Then, a 10 more mile shakedown to work! I probably will have the fuel filter changed too just for the heck of it. It looks old... And who knows, the gas might be ancient too.....

Change the fuel filter (and air filter if you're stock) ...who knows the last time they were.
Do the front tires show any unusual wear on the inner edges? If so, have it aligned to carfixer's specs asap. Plan to have a full transmission flush soon...who knows when the last time the tranny fluid was changed or if a flush has been accomplished.

Good stuff. The tires look good. I wanna get a few miles (<100) or so before I start going crazy. That will be about three days back and forth to work. I want to see what else needs to be repaired (if anything) and then formulate a comprehensive maintenance plan. Now, I am hoping to head to the East Coast of Florida (business trip) with the Marauder next week and meet with the South Florida boys at the Tower ShopS!;)

Trans has probably never been serviced, flush and fill at dealer isn't that much and will go a long way.

Thanks ya'll! It is still sitting at exactly the same height as last night! 14 hours!
I was going to run it today, but a little under the weather....:( My 1st sick day in years!
So, trans flush, oil change with 5w-30 (if I am reading right (makes sense too that I am in sunny & always hot Florida )), Clean air filter and change fuel filter.
What about Brake Fluid flush or PS flush or coolant flush? Are those really worth it?

Unless the fluid in the reservoir is clean, yes, flush the brakes...you want clean brake fluid, not dirty/junked up fluid.
PS flush...just check the fluid level and add some if nececssary...I've never done a flush on my PS and haven't encountered any issues. Don't know the particulars on when/if a flush should be done.
Coolant flush...yes, since you're in Florida. I just had this done to mine before my trip to Louisville.
Also have your serpentine belt checked and replaced, if needed. I had this belt replaced shortly after I bought mine (had just under 60K on it) and will be doing it again sometime this summer...I think a new belt is <$20.
