what axles to go with...

Hey guys got a problem....getting my gear done and the guy s telling me my axles are shot....im going to stay with 28 spline...but i didnt know if theres any alternatives to oem which are 240 a piece...that are same quality. Saw some on rockauto for 109$ a piece...thank you

The '03s had issues with soft axles. AFAIK, the replacement OEMs work fine, I've not had any iproblems with mine since replacing.

I would get a 31 Cobra Carrier and 31 Spline Axles and be done with it.

Maybe put up a wanted add on here for decent stock ones if money is tight? Many members have upgraded theirs, some for no reason at all but upgrade.

I was able to save a member here a few hundred selling him mine.

I've heard of a few aftermarket bad apples only lasting a year. Dorman if I recall.

I ended up only needing one ....went with a dorman..410s are in ready to tear but gonna stay easy on me for 500 miles...just to be safe and change the fluid...diff feels like another car like everyone says
