I would like to buy a new set of rear wheels (9.5 in)
I bought them about 8 years ago from a MM speed specialist in the Michigan region as I recall. He had an Italian name? Does anyone know him?
Thank you

I believe Lidio from Alternative Auto in like 04 or something offered widened wheels. Pretty much sure today that you are going to have to send two of yours or buy two spares and send to Weldcraft In Detroit. They will widen to 9.5 for about $250.00 each plus shipping. They do not refinish them. New marauder rims from Ford are $1500 each and thru discounted Ford parts houses around $1000 each so best find a good pair of used and send them. Turn around is about 4 weeks at this time.

All,
Thank you for your help.
$1000 a wheel!!!
I didn't realize what a luxury car I owned.
It's obvious for me to have them repaired.
I have a spare set so time is not an issue.
Is their a good repair facility around New England?

you sir have an awsome car:beer:
you can pick up good used wheels for 200 a pc. would probably cost that to have yours reworked depending on condition.
new...forget about it...they don't call them stealerships for nothing

What is wrong with them? bent? flaking, peeling, corrosion on outer side? I had 4 rims re-finished by blackburn wheel in Macedonia, OH (local to me) and it was $229 each. Try a goggle search for wheel refinishers for your area (new england) or maybe ask a hotrod builder, specialty shop if they know of anyone..not just a bodyshop, but a customizer type shop.
Here is a link to weldcraft..I might be wrong, it looks like the offer wheel fixing refinihing..I think i meant they don't refinish them for the $250 widening. MIght need to call them and discuss

yes, glassbeaded inside and out, polished and clearcoat powdercoat. I still see the buffer marks in the shine which is under the clear. but hey it is tons better than before

do you have a phone number?
I called and talked to someone last week as I'm local to metro Detroit... Wheels would be there if I didn't have to buy a new furnace two weeks ago...

Call your local dealership and get a price check from parts dept. You'll see. Or look them up on tascaparts.com. Just be glad they are not the 20 inch Shelby ones.

You guys do what you want. I am going Friday for sure. I if you can provide tracking numbers tomorrow I will try and negotiate a group buy in the morning but not sure how far I'll get with that. Then if anyone wants them Pvd chromed I will transport them there as well. Better decide quick. The Detroit wheel (chrome place) guy said yes they can fix road rash for an additional fee. He said typically 65-85 each wheel. I am charging nothing for transport or coordinating any of this so if you do do it remember not to shoot the messenger.
Widening runs about 4 weeks and chrome is 2-21/2 weeks.

I checked the Ford parts system about 18 months ago on the Marauder rims, there were only 12 left in the entire Ford system including dealership inventories.
After I get mine back from Weldcraft I'm going to have them refinished either Detroit Wheel or going to check on another local refinisher when I have time.
When I dropped my wheels off at Weldcraft on Monday he was saying 4 to 5 weeks.

Might do better negotiating a group buy when there isn't a 5-6 week backlog. Just sayin.

just found the place in indiana and they say we HAVE to go through a distributor on the pvd chrome. it is not like chrome when it comes to pealing. it will knick and scratch but not peel. nothing ventured nothing gained.......
