Marauder Motor

Hey guys I wondering if anyone knows where I can get a motor for my 03 marauder. My motor went out on me yesterday taking it to the shop to have it looked at my mechanic told I threw a rod and went thru the block. I'm located in the DC md n va area I would highly appreciate the help and info. My mechanic said he found a motor with 105k on it for $2000 it's a little pricing but I'm trying to see if I can go another route b4 spending the money.

dang son wish I knew about this 4 months ago. you are close enough to have taken my motor from my old marauder. alas it has been sold.

It was posted on eBay when I saw it. Fortunately it was only about a twenty minute drive. I knew about it and was on the fence two days before it popped up on mm.net. That's when it became put up or shut up.

That started the only real hobby I've had in my adult life which is very cool and the people here are the icing on the cake:beer:

almost forgot

now that you mention it, i did see a motor at trilogy with a s/c on it. the lady didn't know much about it but thought it was seized. there were 4 or 5 there on stands (1 4 valve 2 3 valve and i think a couple 5.4's) she said they were all for sale. you would have to call
