Well I picked up the car today and it is an animal..at least to me. Here are a few pics. Car put down 446 rwhp and 467 rwtq. I'm certainly impressed.

Only thing I don't like is that I can't hear the blower. My exhaust is stupid loud bit I still wonder why I can't hear the beloved whine.

Car is beyond dirty in this pic

Very nice! You may want to rotate your CAI plastic shield the opposite side to get less engine heat.

Thanks. I was messing with it yesterday and rotated it the right way. It just looks soo goofy. I might make one that I like

sick man just sick

You got a monster on you'r hands :) dam your car under the hood is crazy good looking going to add it to the screen saver to my labtop. Seeing how fast you did you'r swap makes me want to push getting my parts faster for my build . I kind of hit a road block with putting the rest of the parts needed to complete my list of parts on hold . I am sure a few will ask why !??? Well there is a custom block coming up for sale that I am really thinking of buying - call me crazy but I want my own monster .

Keep up the good work

Why not port + polish the blower before install?

Thanks. That's awesome that you like how it looks. I like the way it looks too. A built motor would be nasty. Go for it.

Why not port + polish the blower before install?

Some people like chrome, polished, and bling. I'm just not one of those people. I knew I was gonna be close to my 450 rwhp goal so I didn't bother sending it out to be ported. Turned out I hit my power goals perfectly

why not do the internals, ploish the alternator etc. etc. etc.?do all the internals, upgrade the trans, upgrade the rear end, shocks, brakes, etc etc etc.

simple: time, money, or patience any one or in any combination..............:D

lilmarauder
05-07-2013, 07:49 PM
Yea I really want to put a forged 5.0 in it and up the power a bit. Build the trans as well. I am hungry for more. I want 550-600 to the wheels

You want to see what a ported blower does? Ported heads also. She's @ about 480rwhp now btw. ;)

Ditto on what mods?

I'm not denying that a ported blower would get me more.

I have no idea how the car made that much torque. The only other thing I did besides the blower is the stainless works headers and exhaust

CAI, ba2800, BBK twin 65mm, ported Eaton elbow (both sides), ported Eaton, Ported heads, short turn radius, bowl work, polished combustion chambers with valve deshrouding, 98 cobra cams (not degreed), MMR/FRPP block w/forged internals (flat top pistons), FRPP shorty headers, cobra exhaust w/high flow cats, x-pipe, to magnaflow mufflers. (3.65 upper pulley and 6lb lower for 14psi)
Oh and my very own custom tune.

Awesome stuff!!! I read your port thread this morning. Nice work, I know you heard it a thousand times but it doesn't get old hearing it again does it :D
