After only enjoying the car for about 3 weeks sporadically last November, I used a vacation day and decided to exhume the Marauder from storage. It looked like a barn find as I didn't have it covered. New battery in -check, turn over with pedal fully depressed for a bit -check. Fire it up !

First stop, gas station for depleted tire pressure.
Second stop, car wash

Try to reset clock- negatory
Try to figure out climate control system - next time.
Radar detector -check
New floor mats to save OEM- check

lots of smiles per mile until I realized my garage had grown smaller in Winter but, fit the Mustang just fine. Had to rearrange accumulated stuff to accommodate car.

Now, it sits. Again. For at least a week due to weather. :coffee:

Needs wiper motor and synth oil change. Will drive to work Saturday as it always is good weather when I work Saturday's. Got the Interceptor in the parking area, the Mustang in the garage and ....where to put the Marauder ? - storage. All I need is a 1 bedroom apt. with a 3 car garage.......

I was in this predicament in Milwaukee in 2010 with two Jeep Cherokees and a Marauder. Craigslist was a great way to find unique rentals and/or unique storage units for decent prices. Keep your eyes peeled as moving season starts!

Motorhead350, I know you are a motoring enthusiast and I have agreed with your style over the years I have been on this site.
I did not drive Marauder 1 in the rain as I drove my white (OJ Simpson style) Bronco. A fellow worker kidded me about that so I drove the MM on a rain threatening day. Very dark in the morning and an Asian lady pulled out of a corner gas station in front of me on a 40 MPH boulevard. I did not make it to work that day and the insurance totaled out the Marauder.
DOHC2003 drove his Marauder in the winter and he totaled his too.
Patstang, If you can afford a second vehicle, I would recommend you drive it in inclement weather as you evaluate the risk. Mustangs are mass produced and more easily replaced. It took 8 weeks of effort and daily searching to find Marauder 2.
