For those who have done this, what is the best way to get the resonators out of OEM tips? A play by play would be very helpfull.. Thanks

Only way to remove resonator is to cut off the part that attaches to the tailpipe at the weld. Remove resonator and re weld and chromed. I however went another route and used a 3\8 inch drill bit and drilled holes evenly spaced around resonator. Also have to remove tip and do the same to other end which is a bit more difficult. Since moved on to 3.5" non-resonated and from there to 4" tips. Both Megs.

Cut off tip right where the chrome starts.
Stand it up on two blocks outlet end up.
Insert blunt object.
Beat blunt object down till the resonator falls out.
Reweld back on.
I just had a muffler shop do mine. Cost? $30.00
