Transmission Update

Went to start car to bring to dealership for trans problem,would not start.When you turned the key nothing,called merc roadside told them to send flatbed truck and it was not a dead battery.Told service manager about about od light blinking and transmission slips and now will not start.Called me back about 5 hours later and said my car was all ready,there was a connector located at the bulk head under the evap case that was green and corroded causing a bad signal to the PCM and that the transmission was searching for gears.The reason it would not start was because although the car was in park PCM thought the car was still in drive,said it was improper install at factory allowing water to collect inside connector

Thankfully it was nothing major.
