Just wondering, what brand of fuel do ya'll prefer?
91 or 93 octane?
Do you run any additives (Techron or the like)?
Is the intake/fuel injector cleaning that the dealer offers worth it?

Run 93 Octane from a TopTier station and save your money on the rest of the stuff.

Click on his link and then click on Retailers.
Thanks Cheesehead!
I was told by a friend who runs a Cadillac service department that whenever possible try to run Mobil, because of the Techron additive they use in their gas is excellent.
So, with a tune and all, does 91 or 93 octane really make that much difference if you are NA?

What gas do you use in your other car(s)?
Just buy 93 octane gas from a known / quality station and you'll be alright.
I use a fuel system cleaner once a year as part of my tune up schedule.

The Mustang is a garage queen and gets Sunoco or Mobil (when I can).
The trusty 1992 Towncar (~153k), gets whatevergas I can find, as long as its premium.
The 1993 Chevy 1500 (just turned 90k miles), don't seem to care either but is satisfied with 89 octane.
The Marauder, seems to be a different animal. So, just trying to get a feel since I am new to all this computer control tuning stuff.:P

I use Techron or Redline SI-1. Techron is BOGO at AZ right now.

run a can of Seafoam through it every couple of months. Just add it right to the gas and it should keep your injectors and that clean. Will smoke a little but then it goes away.

I prefer Tide. Does an excellent job while leaving a nice smell from the tail pipes.

So you just put Tide where you'd put the gas? Now I've heard it all, I have some Tide in the car right now that I haven't used in months.

Please don't do that. I was being sarcastic.
Although I did put some vanilla flavoring designed for fuels once. That was pretty cool.

I tried Seafoam in the gas a few times, but I switched to Techron because I didn't feel like it was doing anything. I never did it through the intake, just in the gas.

My 2003 Black, all you could get in July 2002 when I bought my Marauder with only a little over 2,000 miles had check engine light come on a few years ago and I added a can of Seafoam and the engine light went off and has never reappeared.

I should have stated this a little bit better. I bought my Marauder new and it now has just 2,228 miles on it. I only have drove this Marauder to cruses and car shows since I have had it. I have Metco upper and lower control arms to install and both front and rear Addco sway bars before I get the car out this spring, which is very slow comming to Northern Illinois.

I would have never guessed how many low-mileage cars were out there - every car I looked at for a year had 90k + miles and looked like thugs had been working out of it for five years.

Every oil change I'll put in Techron since we don't have any Chevron stations in Oklahoma. I run 91 octane since there's only 1 station in the OKC metro that has 93 and i try to only get 100% gasoline. It seems like there are less and less stations with 100% gasoline anymore.
I swear by Techron. That's all I would use in AZ and every time I go back to visit I'll only go to Chevron stations. My car just idles smoother and runs better with it (both my Marauder and my Maxima)

We've got 94 octane up here and I have a kit that alows me to hook up directly to the fuel rail and run a preasurised can of Ford injector cleaner every 20,000 miles or so.
