My climate control fans keeps turing on and off at random while on the auto setting. I switch to vent and use the fan controller and this helps, but sometimes the fan will still shut off randomly for a few seconds. I can still adjust temperature. It's not "dead" like it was when the o-rings were shot.

I will check the connections later and I have changed the o-rings before, but it was with the "cheap" NAPA brand, not the ones we order, which what I suspect is slowly becoming the issue.

Does my assumption sound accurate or is this a separate issue?

Sounds like it's one of two possibilities:

1 - the electronics in the EATC are bad.

2 - the BCM needs to be replaced

The O-rings are not the problem.

It's not the o-rings, Dom. If you can live without a cabin blower for a week, send your BCM to Jim and have him work his magic on it.

...or get one at that pick & pull where you found all the window switches. The BCM should be the same in any CV/GM that has EATC.

I charge $25.00 for a repaired one. Free shipping. All I ask in return is that you send me your old one.

Alright. When I have time for this I will check it out. Until then, it's time to take the train downtown.

A standard sized blade fuse fits into the BCM connector. Do that and the blower runs on high any time the key is on. Temp fix.
