I was the first in line to make a pass on the track that morning on the prepped surface. I had my usual snacks and drinks in the car. upon launch it threw the lid off the cooler, the drinks and ice came flying out the cooler on too the floor and I had a bit of a mess to clean up after but it was worth it!:D I was not able to get the same connection with the track the rest of the day....

I know he got rid of the Aero Turbines, and I think he got a new dyno tune, but other than that, I'm thinking not much else.

Self proclaimed Builder Of Badassery. That converter has lots to do with it. As long as people keep believing the the stock converter is best for roots style they will never break into the 11's with less than 500rwhp.
Kick ass!!!
What tires were you running?

Upgraded exhaust (MBS) widened wheels, new dyno tune and Nitto NT555's. everything else was mostly cosmetic....

I noticed in the timeslips page that the 1.592 is a really low 60'#. You just need the right tire combo to take advantage of the stall. That first launch planted me squarely in the seat and the ET got the attention of the rest of the crowd including the announcer who commented on that really quick "Luxury Car" at the track.

I think there has been some members that have broke into the 11's with roots blowers and stock torques.......
before going T/S allthough i didnt go 11;s the car went 12.000@115.2 making 440 rwhp.
Im sure the reason people are sticking with the stock torque is the car still feels like driving a stocker till ya mash the pedal.....
there are obvious gains to had with the aftermarket convertor....especially at the track, but running around on the street without a good tire will just blow them off making traction very difficult......comes down to want ya really want.....

Very nice times!! Do you still have the stock 28 splines? I have done 1.6 60' and I was afraid my stock 28 splines will break.

Traction, what a nice thought. One of these days.....
Next is adjustable shocks F&R and Mickey Thompsons.
Looking to de-Gumby my launch.
R/Ts are good 60' slower than stockers
