View Full Version : Funny moments in the car last night.

Last night I finally got my stock wheels back on so we went for a little cruise. I went to a filler station just as a tanker truck pulled up. I prepaid and went up to the truck driver and said:

"Thank you for the gas! I love you!"

"You don't want to know, the station pays $3.50 a gallon."

"I don't care, it's worth it."

The guy looked at me like I was crazy. I put in the fuel and pealed out on the way out of the station. Just was I was slowing down at a stop sign there was a guy on the sidewalk, looking all over the place like he heard a bomb go off. He was seriously constantly looking all around himself while walking, like a paranoid teenage gangster. I knew he was looking around trying to see where that angry V8 came from.

We burned off into the night.

I love this car.

FYI: Discount tire loves when you send off your worn tires with a burnout in their parking lot :D

Grandson and I had a Man night. Movie, shopping, coffee and a good meal. I always told him he can have one of my Marauders when he starts to drive. (He is 8) He turns to me and said, "Paw Paw I don't want a Marauder. I want a chick magnet car not a old 4 door car." I was floored so I floored it. He is not dis-owned by me.

barry, do not give up on him. he does not yet understand the value of a simple set of flowmasters and the size of the back seat ;)
