No, it's a solid axle like in the CV, GM & Lincoln.
Have you looked underneath?
Yeah I just wanted confirmation.

The internals from your 8.8" rear are the same as Mustangs from 80's to 2004.

I found a shop that is running a "special". Accurate Performance is running a special on Ford Mustang 8.8" ring and pinion set installation. For a limited time I'm offering 3.55 / 3.73 / 4.10 gears installed for $325. parts and labor. PARTS & LABOR. This includes an new ring and pinion set (Motive Gear or Richmond Gear), new crush sleeve, new pinion nut, gear lube and professional installation.
I have not researched this at all I just started looking for my Eaton and found that add. Is it as good of a deal as it sounds?

Ask them how much extra for a real gear set from FRPP, and depending on mileage on your car an M-4210-C3 install kit.

One Revolution of wheel compared to revolutions of drive shaft.
Do not hesitate to change the seals and bearings. I.E. install kit previously mentioned.
This price would scare me off as its way too cheap.

150 for the bearings and they use richmond gears.

The price concerns me. They are only offering the deal for mustangs I asked about if for the merc and they said they would do it. They seem like a legit shop but i am concerned about the price being too cheap. Any one have any idea why they offer this for fords only?
