I saw this posted on TCG/The Chicago Garage forum today. Pretty cool stuff if you are on a budget and don't mind a little work.

Use Pam cooking spray instead of tape. Washes right off.

My plastic looks fine on my car, but what might be another alternative is the Plasti-Dip Glossifier. All it is is a clear gloss plasti-dip spray.

I just purchased some glossifier and plan to dip my wheels and a couple coats of glossifier after. I'll let you know how it turns out

I plasti-dipped my front and rear emblems and used it to S55 my reverse lights. Make sure you don't use more than two coats, it gets a little cloudy with any more than that.

I know. I plasti-dipped my wheels last year and used 3 coats on each wheel. Looking forward to it!
