View Full Version : My Marauder is fixed and home.

The shop took only ten days to replace the roof, clean the corrosion from the frame, cut out the opening for the moon roof, paint and replaced the broken windshield.

The car looks good and I swear it's 17% faster.:burnout:

The total cost was $3,200.00 (I know you want to know) not including the windshield, which was paid by the insurance company.

The shop has a mini-version of the factory welder. So installation was not hard.

Anyway, thanks for your good wishes.

Silverback and I will join the Hot Rod Power Tour on the 2nd June in Texarkana. :banana:

Going as far as your shop where you will check my tune and shifting operation and look at that FRPS anomoly. Patricia and I should come into your front door on the 5th, good lord willing. I'll call and set up an appointment in a week or so.

Pat, the whole shop will be closed for the week of the Third. We, and a few customers, are all going on the Tour from Memphis to Charlotte.

Thanks for the heads up Marty, then I'll see you in Memphis cause we will go on to Chattanooga with the tour and see one of my sons. I'll prolly schedule Silverback in to your shop in conjunction with the end of Marauderville then.

That will be great Pat. If our plans change and we don't go on to Charlotte, I will put you first on the list! If not you have first dibs on the spot right after MVXI!
