Airbag light on. Flashes code 12. Error B1342

Now when I start my 03 the air bag light comes on and flashes code 12 then stays on solid. I used a scan tool and it says 'B1342 GEM Defective'. Any ideas where to start looking? Thanks.

According to the sop manual you need to replace the RCM.

RCM = Restraints Control Module
