I have my last final exam tomorrow morning (YAY!!!) and my summer classes don't start until June 4th, so that leaves me with 4 full weeks to get some things done to my MM....the planets have aligned themselves finally to where I actually have a decent amount of time AND some pocket change to knock more than a couple things off my wish list.

Looked at the forecast and it's going to rain for the next 3 days...looks like a slow start to the customization bit...:depress:....but there are a few things I can do inside to get started at least.

Since I'll turn 110k on the odo sometime this month, I have the following routine maintenance items to take care of:

--Tranny fluid exchange
--Oil change
--Have my 410 gear/rear end looked at (can't believe it's been a year already since having them installed)
--New serpentine belt

Is there anything else I should consider?

I had new plugs installed at 100k and had a radiator flush done a couple days before my trip to Looseville this year.

Thanks for the link!

Edit: just tried link and access denied...:-(

Hmm... I usually go by the Factory Maintenance with some tweaks of my own, in the fluid and filter departments. Different link:

1st link didn't work (access denied again), but the 2nd did. Doesn't look like much at 110k, but I noticed this maintenance item for 105k:

Inspect and lubricate all non-sealed steering linkage,ball joints,suspension joints,half and drive-shafts and u-joints

I haven't had this done since I've owned the car; how critical is this and does a non-dealership maintenance shop have the ability to do this?

TIA....

I was going to suggest checking these. At 91k upper front upper control arm bushings passenger side are shot on mine. Any compotent shop should be able to do it.

I have a good relationship with the Dealer here, they service five other Marauders, and the mechanic has a 2003 mustang mach 1. Up on the rack, he looks at certain points around the front suspension, driveshaft and rear end with a flashlight. Yanks on certain parts, and wheels. I believe its more a visual inspection, than anything else, and I believe some of the points are not Marauder specific, maybe some one else can chime in.

So, last Thurs I had oil change, tranny fluid flush, serpentine belt replaced, and had the inspection of ball joints, u-joints, etc done. I have removed my black pin stripe and replaced it with sky blue to match my calipers (painted them Mustang Grabber Blue back in March).

Drove down to Rex's (SC Cheesehead) yesterday and bought his old exhaust/headers and am getting ready to head over to Russ's (03mmmonroe) to install my new headlamp assemblies and a couple other minor things. When I get back to Asheville tomorrow, will take my car back to the guy that installed my 4.10 so he can check it out. It's been a year and he told me to bring it in so he can take a look at it.

Going to Mo's next week to have the headers/exhaust installed and rear cooling mod done. Have a few other interior projects in the works as well that I hope to get done and will get in a good washing/clay bar session before Carlisle.

Kinda got off to a slow start, but I'm picking up steam now...

I think he combined two things into one thread topic. He's gonna be getting work done on the car in the near future, some of it maintenance, some of it mods (i.e. rear cooling mod, exhaust system, etc).

No worries....just thought you had forgotten to take your bipolar meds again...

Rex is right, I did combine two different topics; 28 days of doing stuff to my MM would've been a better thread title. I'm just stoked because I want my MM to be nice n purdy for Carlisle and I finally have time and money to get things done!

My laundry list of things-to-do for my Marauder is getting longer and longer and it's almost the end of May... I haven't done anything :(

Your Marauder pen0r is going to be bigger than my Marauder pen0r at Carlisle:(:(:(:(

..

but we still can make fun of Guitar22 together behind his back because he's not coming to Carlisle
