All the Aluminators are gone..... FRPP has now produced a 4.6L modular stroker, you 5.0L modular packed with all the bullet proof Aluminator goodies for 2,3,or 4 valve configurations.

Very cool! I noticed they didn't test a 4v config. I wonder what compression one would end up with using stock 4v heads.

Good question, I would say the increased volume and 10cc dish would probably put it around 11:1 as a geustimate.

9.6:1 with a 52cc chamber and .038" head gasket.

Actually if I'm using the compression calculator right I get 10.29:1 or 9.77:1 forgot if the 0.012 below is a "-" or not. I hate brain farts

I came up with 10.2:1. My 18cc dished on my 4.6 stroker will be at 8.9:1 with 52cc chambers.

That's what I thought the .012 below deck is calculated as a negative, cool.

I assume you would need to buy harder 4v heads at the stock heads and cams would just melt with that kind of power?

Completely Stock heads do fine at well over 700hp.

So is this correct then? Bill? Todd?

4.6 4v head install kit
Chains
Cam gear cogs
(2) Tensioners, (2) upper guides, (2) lower guides
My MM front cover
My MM oil pickup tube (will this fit)
MM oil pan is suppose to be the same as all other 4.6 2v

Anything I'm forgetting?

9.9 with stock 4v heads? This CR sucks was hoping for N/A to be at least higher than 10.1:1

This short block then looks like a bad idea.

shave .030" off the heads and you'll have 10.59:1

Bore is 3.557 on this block piston to deck is -.012 making compression 10.26

You can get a gasket that compresses to 0.36 and bump the compression up a bit more too
