I just got home with my new (to me) 2004 SB Marauder! It's the one that was in the classifieds from Jacksonville, NC. Closed the deal this afternoon, I bought it from a gentleman serving in the Marine Corps who truly loves Marauders. He sent along a good bit of paperwork, including the Ford Certificate and Dyno paperwork. When he said too many mods to list, he wasn't kidding, but i'm going to try anyway. The engine and trans work was done in Leland, right up the road from me, and the Dyno tuning was done in Jacksonville. This car was built with the expectations of being Supercharged, a project I will finish down the road.

The car:
Built 08/26/2003
#145 of 3214
#51 of 997 in SB
285.6 WHP/284.8 WTQ

Mods (some of which I need to confirm):
GT40 Cams
Mahle Pistons
Upgraded Trans/TC/Valve body
U/D pullies
JLT Intake
X-pipe (apparently from a cobra :dunno: )
Magnaflow mufflers
Addco front and rear sway bars
Eibach lowering springs
4.10 gears
Metco watts link
Metco or Heinous control arms
Various other stuff I can't remember.
Best of all, current Dyno numbers:
311.5 WHP/292.7 WTQ

So far I LOVE the car. Drives awesome, corners like it's on rails and flat move out! I thought the CV I had was quick...I was wrong. Only thing the car really needs is back tires. First mods I can think of that I want to do are bigger brakes and headers, and a new garage or carport...I know, pics or it didn't happen, but they will come soon, there were plenty taken today lol.

Tucked in, a little on the tight side, more room will be this weekend's project...

Welcome home fitness friend.

That's a great SB you have and a nice mod list.

You mentioned you might want bigger brakes. Contact TCE, a vendor here. He offers front and rear 13" & 14" 6piston Wilwood kits along with stainless brake lines.

Mine worked flawless at the track while braking hard before the turns.

Here's mine.

Congrats-----supper deal!!!!!!!!!! Where in NC you located?

I'm just outside Southport (Ever see "Safe Haven"...there). Find the point in SE NC, and that's pretty much it :coolman:

Thanks for the kind words, I'm extremely happy with the car. I've gotten quite a few compliments already, it's definitely a different world from the Crown Vic!
