LOGO Lights

Looks like this is coming together.

The Logo Lights are 2 per set.

12v

Can get with red, white, blue, green lights. Working to get purple also.

This will be the logo:

These are 30mm x 23mm, 3W(per light) Cree LED. There will be a hole saw included.

I'm looking for these to be in the range of $35.00 - $50.00 per set. The more I can order the cheaper they will be. The final cost will include shipping.

I need an approximate count of sets and colors.

Please reply with what you want. I'll keep the list below updated.

Does the logo get larger with less detail as it is raised from the ground OR what if is installed in the bottom of the door panel? Would it be too close to the ground. That FORD logo one appeared to disappear as the door was closed. I would love to see installation pics. Also, I might, MIGHT order two sets of white ones as soon as I find out more details.

Ohhh crap I just got this great idea of mounting one red underneath the rear and wire to break lights!!!!! Hmm maybe yellow for turn signals? Are they water proof?

I think the Ford one was mounted in the door panel, so I don't think these would be too close to the ground. I was thinking of puting them either on the mirror or under the sides of the car(like valet lights) and having them on with the headlights all the time. Or under the front or back bumper...oh yeah, wanna cause some wrecks ...:banana:

The only issue that we may have is getting it to fit into the mirror housing. I pulled the glass off and the motor inside covers a lot of real estate. I have a busted mirror that I may take the provided dimensions and attempt a mockup to see how we can make it work. Other wise it will be hooked up in the grill to shine in front of the car or be pointed at the hood liner to illuminate the Gods head. It will be interesting to see how creative some of us will be with them.

They will not fit in the mirror housing. I just tried it.

A small diameter hole in the underside of the door panel isn't bad. If you take them out you can plug the hole.

Shining under the hood will illuminate a gods head with a gods head?

Who manufactures these? There are some excellent ones by GTR Lighting in a demo on youtube. They do a side by side with some Chinese knockoffs and they are far superior. They mention they can do any logo and theirs look amazing. Check out the video.

There is a initial design cost, then the product plus the drop shipping and sorting out the different colors and then the shipping on Jim's end of everyone's order. If people post up showing interest and cause Jim to spend the money for designs, then open ordering and only 1/4 of those people come forward. That's money wasted and its not worth it, this is likely why he hasn't followed up on this.

It's been the story of group buys lately, perhaps some rules should be put in place when it comes to showing interest, but not serious about committing.

I believe this company can make a quality product if given the image. In their youtube tutorial they mention having custom designs made. Maybe give them a call and see if they can produce a Marauder one. If they have "Hello Kitty" then they should be willing to do MARAUDER!!

I don't even have a Marauder yet. Someone asked, I did a quick search and there it was. I wouldn't have a problem putting up $500 for 10 sets, but being that I don't have a car for 1 pair, it's kind of useless for me to do that, unless I wanted to become a vendor.
