Noticed a nail in my front tire, no issue yet but a good excuse to spend some $. Is it a bad idea to get nitto 420's all around for front and back?
I am in Indiana, so I am kind of hesitant just because you never know what the weather is going to do and I saw where these are not good in sub 50 degrees.
Figure I can plug the bad one and keep the BF's for winter use when it is cold.
Any suggestions?

I think they make the 420 in sizes for the front as well..why not keep them the same?

Just reading everything in posts it didnt seem as if too many owners did that....any idea on the size of 420's for the front?

I think I see why..front size is limited to 235/55/18..which will be about an inch taller than stock..fills inthe wheel well nicely and should be ok since you plan on the 255 out back which is also taller..Pm Blackened300A..I beleive he runs these sizes with 420's

I just put the Nitto Motivos on my car -255/45 - 18 on all 4.
Look very nice and they are very "sticky" - handles very well.
Also very quiet and smooth but they are still
brand new. Will have to see how they wear.

Just put Motivo 245/55/18 on the rears 2-3 weeks ago. Will put 235/50/18 on the front when needed. Road and Track likes them FWIW. They are supposed to be good performance all season tires with a treadwear rating of 560 and a 60,000 mile warranty. So far in my limited outings they handle as well or better then the OEMs and might be a bit stiffer. Krytin prolly has more miles on his and can give you better feedback. Mine isn't a DD so will know more after a road trip to Carlisle and New Hampshire this summer. I do like how they look.

What ever size you ultimately decide on just keep in mind the T/C :)
