I've been tracing prices on and off for the past two years, and prices for the lower intake manifolds and intercoolers have been slowly creeping up. If you can find 'em for $300 that's great, but $350 - $400 is closer to the new norm, IMO.

Agreed, I had been bidding in the low 400s on ebay for a week and lossing the auctions. So when that one came up I jumped.

Yep... After searching for a couple of weeks on ebay for one around $300, I finally jumped on one for $420 with free shipping. $400 is about the cheapest you'll find them on ebay now.

This is all true. I've tried looking on ebay only to come up with a 400 - 500 price range. But usually on most threads, people will offer items for a lesser amount to give their own web community a chance to take advantage. Thats the deal im tryna catch. I think imma try the threads mentioned before i resort to ebay.
