Got hit again this morning. Almost eleven months to the day of the last time. Gal ran a red light and hit the driver's front corner of the car. Pushed the entire front end over enough to keep the passenger front door from opening. Gonna need a new bumper cover and marker light for sure. Car still drives ok, but it now pulls a little to the left, and the steering column seems to have been pushed out of whack. The steering wheel isn't centered on the dash any more.

Good thing is that two City of Garland Police Detectives witnessed the whole thing! Once the squad car showed up with the traffic officer, they gave her a ticket for running the red light. They were still wrting out tickets when I left.

Amazingly, she actually had valid a drivers liscense and insurance.

Will let you guys know how it turns out. I was looking at a silver MM with moonroof last weekend at David McDavid. Maybe nows a good time to trade.

Thanks guys.
Yeah me and LadyX are ok. We were both a little shaky right after it happened, but are calmed down now.

She was driving, wouldn't you know, a '97 Honda Civic. Sure looks like those rice cars are out to get us MM's! Last year's wreck was caused by a Nissan Altima.

I got hit a week ago today...seems to be going around. Maybe we could start a petition to ban licencing rice cars.

Dean,

Sorry to hear about your accident and damage to your MM. Thank goodness you and LadyX are OK.

I almost made an attempt to pass one of those big county John Deer tractors with mower that was going as fast it could but blocking traffic on our main highway. As I made the decision to go around and pass, the guy turns left while his right turn blinker was on. Fortunately, I hadn't fully committed to the move and was able avoid the big one!

:( Dean, glad you and Gayle are O K...Tough luck--with the show season coming up--make them super detail it out of the repair shop. I f you are serious about changing--a silver MM with moon-roof is at North Hills and Jim has a red one at Hook's L/M in Weatherford. If I can help, give me a call. Maury

No way man.........

My Silver Marauder got hit by an uninsured motorist who ran a stop sign driving a Honda last week. What the hell is up with Honda's hitting our Marauders?

Maury-
It's G-A-Y-L-A (make the change in your notebook). I'll spare you the details but LadyX let me call her "Kayla" for about a month without correcting me- Coli finally told me...Gayla's got a wicked sense of humor...Kinda like a pit bull in a poodle suit.;)

Dean- DTR with a sunroof has you written all over it.

Yeah I've been looking at the DTR too. The problem right now is I can't find a DTR with charcoal interior at any of the DFW dealers. All of them have that Light Flint that I'd rather not have. Eagle has a Silver w/charcoal. Did find one DTR w/charcoal, but it didn't have the moonroof. Gotta have the moonroof, ya know?

Yes, the moonroof is your signature item. I'd buy any color from John Eagle before I'd go anywhere else...they're good people.
