I recently put swapped the front brake setups on my marauders. After I did it, I noticed a popping noise. I thought I had a bad ball joint, but after a closer look I noticed that the end link was coming in contact(gouging) with the Baer adapter bracket. I have Addco sway bars and Moog end links. I clearanced the bracket, but am wondering if anyone else experienced this?

Yup, both the Baer and Wilwood brakes with the Moog greaseable end links.

Mine came w/o instructions. I used torque specs from the Marauder service manual but could not determine torque for the rear link bolts/nuts. I called Addco and a tech told me the torque is in the 5 lb range. Too much and the bushings will split. The best rule of thumb they said was to tighten the line ends until the sleeve between the bushings is snug but can still be turned by hand.
One other thing. If you have Baer brakes up front you might get interference from the sway bar link arm ball joint at close to full lock, but only when the car is on the ground. The way I discovered it was hearing a clunk from the front end as I turned the wheel lock to lock. I had to do a bit of grinding on the caliper mounting bracket that comes with the Baer brake kit so the ball joint would clear it.
Now this is good info. Thanks for the heads up. Got pics?"
if this doesn't help i will go pull off a wheel and get a good look, let me know

Yes I have the same concern. I went back to the OEM end link and no concerns.

After taking a look at my setup there can possibly be some slight contact if i make a lock to lock turn (which i never do), but its a easy fix to clearance the caliper bracket if need be.

Could you please? Check both sides while your there as well.
I don't need to know, nor have them brakes, but rather just curious. :D

Thanks for the responses, I just didn't want to think I was the only one. After about a minute each side with a 2" grinding disc, I have no more noise. The hardest part was trying to get the air grinder in there.
