Hello, New Marauder owner from SF Bay Area

Hello everyone. I just traded my 2003 Grand Marquis Ultimate for a 2003 Silver/Flint Marauder with 67,000 miles. Love it. So much more fun and not so old man car like my MGM. The Marauder really moves out on the highway.
Quick question. I used and installed a tune from BOC using a X3 Power flash on the Grand Marquis but kept the Power Flash for use on my new Marauder. Unfortunatly I did not have time to put the MGM back to stock befor trading away.
What do I need to do to reuse the X3 on my Marauder? And whose tune do you guys recommend?

First, congratulations on trading up to a Silver Birch Marauder....you are clearly extremely smart.:cool: As for a tune, Martyo or Alternative Auto (Lidio) both are top notch and are vendors here. They know Marauders inside and out and are super nice guys to boot.

Congrats on upgrading to an MM and welcome to the site. I believe if you didnt return the MGM back to stock you cannot use the tuner unless it is "unmarried" from the car. This is just what i think not 100% sure.

Yea. I was afraid of that. I am going to call the dealer and see if they will let me put the stock air box back on and flash back to stock. I know, long shot. All they can sy is no.

Nice find at the dealer with low miles :) Marauders getting hard to find unless you look at the for sale ads on the site lol good luck hope it brings many fun miles to come .

I'll give you that BUT

A silver Marauder looks like a cop car. A black marauder is a dime a dozen. A DTR, well they are close to being unique ... But a Dark Pearl Blue, that is a rare Marauder.

LOL I would agree on those points. I fell in love with these cars when I was a kid and of course it was a black car that I told myslef "when I get old and cant have a 2 door ill buy that car" If I wasnt attached to the memmory of the day I saw the first MM I might of gone for the blue because they are so rare.

As far as the SB I didnt think Id like those but my buddy on here bought one, I see it every day and I have to say I really like it. I am conidering a number two. That way I can drive it as I molest mine with a Eaton and whatever else I can toss her way. :beer:

As to your question about which tune to use, another alternative you can consider is the Zack tune. I ran it on mine when I had an '03, it was a heck of a tune. It's not one you can buy through a vendor though.
