I'm having some difficulty finding tires for my car. Is the Nitto 420 in 255/55-18 still a decent tire for the rears. I still have OEMs on the front.

I seem to recall someone saying they had stability issues with the 420s and OEMs in front. Anyone have this issue?

I am getting those Nittos on my rear but still trying to figure out what fronts to go with.

Would anyone say the Nt555 265/50zr18 is better on the rear?

I believe the 420S is an all-season type of tire..The 555 is a summer tire only..They do not perform well below 40-50 degrees

I run 555's year round. In rain, slow it down but I have had no issues with mine ... Except excessive tire wear. :burnout:

treaddepot.com has cooper rs3a in stock for 245/55/18 for $147 each..plus shipping and they have a rebate from cooper avail. not sure if it is for two tires or if you buy 4

I like my rs3a alot..sticky, great wet traction..I don;t use in winter so....

I should have added..I bought mine thru treaddepot.com last July..for $155 for rears.$145 fronts and had them in two days and was like $150 cheaper than nitto 555 at the time

Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval AS are available in the factory sizes and are pretty reasonable price wise.
