Anybody know of a reputable shop in SoCal to rebuild a Cobra DOHC motor?
Also has anybody head of rebuilding DOHC heads with worn cam journals?
Thanks
Karl

Check out Powerheads:

I have always liked what they did with the E7 heads that came on the Foxbody and early SN95 5.0's. I have a set of their heads on my 86 GT and aboslutely love the way they perform. They also do 4.6 stuff. Don't have any experience with that though. Might be worth a click!

No I never thought about researching the problems these cars have and the preventative methods, i purchased my car off a mom and pop dealer who picked it up at a repo auction, my guess is that owner never took care of it. Its my daily driver and it will cost me a pretty penny.
by the way I apologize for the late response..
