Hey! When I was installing my new Kicker CS68's (which sound AWESOME BTW :D) in the driver's door, the little clip that holds the trim piece that covers the driver's side side view mirror popped off and has yet to be recovered. I think it wound up in the bottom of the door, but with my big hands and fingers, I was unable to find it. I have been to the junk yard to check out the only car I know might have the same part, but to no avail. Anyone have one or know where I could find a suitable replacement clip?

Use a magnetic pickup tool to try and find the clip.

Ford usually doesn't sell parts like that unless you buy the entire piece.

You can also try to wrap some electrical tape around the post.

Yeah, I tried the magnetic thing. Didn't work, although I did find some extra change!:P

I was going to try the tape thing, but I thought I would ask here first before I rig something up. I did pick up some similiar clips at Lowes, figuring I could modify them somehow (maybe with some tape unless there was another way I haven't thought of yet...).
