It's the same muffler. Just a larger diameter. He's running 3 inch pipe instead of 2.5 inch pipe.

That's why the number is 3030 instead of 2525.

Flowtech makes the warlock muffler, which lets you run wide open for fast and loud (track) and capped for everyday use.

I was looking at getting these, then one could have the best of both worlds.

Let me say GOOD LAWD!!!!! These Mutha grabbers are freaking LOUD and I LIKE IT!!!

They sound very similar to what I had in the Magnaflows when at idle. When giving slight throttle they perk up a good bit like my Magnaflows as well. But when you hit about 5 lbs of boost........... :awe: I almost Pissed my pants............ HOLY Freakin Cow............It will take some getting used to but when this beast goes WOT I feel sorry for who ever is behind me.:D I haven't tried that yet. :burnout::burnout:

A buddy of mine had one of these on his '78 Marquis with a 460. Even uncapped, it was super quiet. However, in all fairness, I think it had more to do with the fact that the 460 for that year and car had low compression and a weak assed cam.

The best solution with that muffler, if you could find one that fit the cap pattern, is to wire in an electronic cutout where the cap would go. Then, instead of having to weld in extra y-splitters to run open exhaust, you just get the muffler and bolt the e-cutout straight on and have it open or closed at the flick of a switch.

I must be getting old but if this was my everyday car I would probably not go with the aero turbines. Those suckers are loud!!!!!!!!! I would probably go with some nice dynomax mufflers -get some sound but maintain some reason.

You know when I was a kid I cut the mufflers off my 5.0 and ran it about 3 months before I could not stand it anymore. I like it loud but not everyday loud. Just my opinion:D

Chris and Dooms cars do sound sick!!!!

I added AT 2525s when my MM was still stock (only diff is 4" Megs tips); to me, they were loud only when I mashed the go pedal, but not obnoxious...again, that's according to me; don't know (or care that much) about what other people thought.

Since I've recently added some things (see sig), they're just as loud as before (maybe a little more), but in a lower pitch/tone. I definitely will keep my ATs....

Chris...your car sounded...just can't describe it using words. Should've kept 'em, man!

I can attest to Kyles car. I had a chance to ride with him at Carlisle to a local eating establishment. His car sounds awesome while cruising. Not overly loud at all but definitely much louder than stock.

I absolutely loved the way they sounded at idle and with some throttle. Now at WOT I liked it too, to say the least. My problem was I like getting in WOT more than I like hearing the pipes. Pumping 18lbs of boost makes those babies ROAR! My deal was I knew what I'd bring on myself where I live with the cops. So, I gave up a little sound to stay more into boost. :D
