My Marauder is 6 months old. When it was new, and I would floor it, the transmission would give those crisp shifts where I would chirp the wheels from 1st to 2nd and almost 3rd. Lately when I jump on it, it feels like I have a slug-o-matic transmission. The crisp shifts are gone. Has this happened to anyone else? If I tell the dealer, is he going to say I'm abusing the car over normal operation or do you think they will look into it. Is the car suppose to have the quick shifts? Any advise would be appreciated.

The ECC is/has adjusted to your driving style. If you don't want more off the line performance, then pass on new gears, but I would suggest you invest in either the DR Performance chip, or the SCT Tuner for performance programs and better transmission control.

 That's a first, I have never heard anyone EVER say they had a new unmodded marauder that shifted crisply...and dare I repeat...chirped the tires!!!??
Strange, very strange. More so that it used to do it, rather that it no longer does.

yes, get a computer chip from Dennis. Although I'm not even sure if he still sells chips. Maybe you would have to buy a Microtuner from him instead. I'm not sure. But either way, that would make your transmission shift harder.

You dont say what year your car is , but some of the 03's needed a reflash from the dealer under warranty. If your car is stock the dealer cant deny your warranty claims no matter how you drive it. Drive it like you stole it ( sounds like you do)
