Assuming one were to collect ALL of the parts necessary to do an Eaton swap, how long should it take to do the swap by a shop? What if you were a somewhat mechanically competent Marauder owner?

Second, ROUGHLY, how much could you expect to pay a shop to install your complete Eaton swap?

In either case above, am I correct in assuming there would be approx. $500 in dyno tuning after the swap?

I would budget at least $750 - $1000 for a shop to install. that way if it is only $500 I would be happy. Aim high, shoot low.

^^^^^^ That's a reasonable estimate, maybe figure $1,500 on the high end, epending on where you take it.

If a shop assigned a mechanic to work on the instalation full time, I'd say two to three days. If the installer was doing it as side work (i.e. evenings/weekend) I'd plan for a week to 10 days.

That is what I was wondering. I know there are things that can come up but if one was to budget for this kind of thing, it would be nice to have a resonable guesstimate. Aim high, shoot low...Perfect! Then, there might be left over money for some new rear tires!:burnout: :burnout:

Thanks Cheese! How's your Eaton swap holding up?

Why dont you pm Carfixer . He ( Claude) and Chuck AKA (Tallboy) they did most of the Trilogy installs in Florida and a few out of state . He lives in Fort Meyers Fl. They will do a Great job . If I remember correctly it takes them about 6 hrs too do a CompleteTrilogy kit & it costs around $1000.00. Or Call Justin @ J&J Performance in Fort Meyers & see if he has the time , he could do the dynoing right their.

30K on the swap and it runs like a Swiss watch. I've done some tweaking since the original install, but the basic set-up is running great.

I sent an email to Justin. One of our customers just moved here with a pretty sick Mustang and needs some tweaking. Hopefully, he will contact us soon.
