Selling this for my cousin. The car is in awesome condition.
-Just under 17,000 original miles
-He is the 3rd owner
-Electric wipers (an option that year)
-6cyl
-New headlight assemblies
-New tail light assemblies
-Re-chromes bumpers and grill
-ALL original molding
-Newly re-done seats, door panels, and headliner
-New head gasket
-original generator
-original working radio
-All original glass
-Still has the original heat shield under the carb. Car is almost completely original, and everything that was re-done was done to original specs w/ the exception of the roof color. The roof was originally black, but he chose white instead because the black was hot. The rest of the paint was the original color. Also comes with 2 extra dashes, and other extra/spare parts. Still needs the carpet installed. He has the original carpet as well

Car runs super smooth. Real head turner and attention getter at shows. I will find ou more in the next day or two. Car is in excellent condition, he just wants something different. No trades. He is asking $22,000/obo. Price is negotiable, just figured he would start there.

Thanks. Yeah, it is super sweet and clean. The pics do it absolutely no justice. It's way better in person

You don't see a lot of 55 Belvederes at the Sunday autoshows.

Very nice.

WOW
When my grandmother died (I was in jr high school at the time), my father bought her 1956 Plymouth Belvedere (4 door sedan...that pink and white two tone colored one) from the estate. I drove it all through high school and first year of college...and although it was 3 years old when I got it...it was a great car. It had a V-8 with a four barrel and dual exhaust...and yep..push button tranny selector on the left dash.
I ended up dechroming the hood and trunk...painting it red...and putting tuck n roll seat covers (from j c whitney...all I could afford with my yard mowing money) on...with dual glasspacks of course...and spinners.
It was a great car for a high school kid...
and this '55 looks terrific.

love the curb feelers!!

For $19,000 - $20,000 you could buy the curb feelers, and get the rest of the car for free.... ;)
