Been eyeballing a Marauder since I first saw one out in CA, wow 10 years ago. Suddenly feeling old...anyway.
I'm on the hunt and think I've found a couple good candidates.
Question is what's to many miles?

Found an 04 with 31k miles but the stealership wants 15k.

HI Brock, welcome !

As to your question, honestly as the years go by I would say any Marauder under 60k miles should be a nice investment. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so take a look at other variables: any modifications? maintenance history? how many owners..etc.

For the right Marauder and the right color with the right options, sometimes mileage isn't an issue.

I found one about a month ago with 32k on the car. Blue book put it at 16,000, and worked out a deal for 12,000.

I don;t think $15k is that bad a price from a dealership. Should be able to negotiate lower than that. Dealership is 99% going to be higher than most individuals, but recently Ive seen individuals selling right around that dealership asking price for under 60k miles.

I told myself that I would only buy a marauder with under 50k on the clock but than a black one of a kind striped marauder came up and I had to Jump on it :) it had 78k on it than I drove it from VA to MA been to shows and love it :) at about 80k on the clock now and every time I wax it it makes me happy . The point I am getring to is my car with 80k on it is cleaner than a 04 with 30k on it I wanted to buy . There is a for sale place on this site that you may find a great ride . Good luck

I don't think that's a bad price depending on how good a shape it's in. Welcome to the boards and where are you located in GA?

NADA has an 04 clean retail at 12500, plus it's 10yrs old.
But I'm talking to the dealer to see what I can work out.
I'm down near Warner Robins.

I did find a 03 that had the engine rebuilt with Even Flow Cylinder Head Cooling Mod, not sure on that but the car looks clean.

If the car has been well taken care of and looks good, I think $15K ain't too bad for a car with 31K on the odometer -- hell that falls into the "barely used" criteria. I've put on at least that much just going to MM.Net events. ;) You may be able to go a little lower; but not too much lower.

Too many miles = 350,000 maybe !!!

I agree with what Bluerauder said above on the price. I'd probably be happy paying around 13500 or as high as 14k. But finding a low mileage Marauder is getting harder to do. Keep us posted on how you come out.

+1

I just turned 81K on my car and consider that fairly low mileage.

I definitely wouldn't sell mine for $15K... ;)

If I was in the market for a divorce this is the one I'd buy :D
You will not get more bang for your buck than this.
I'll vouch for it. The only thing it needs is widened rear wheels.
Oh, and floating center caps

I just bought a '03 from a dealership in Cummings about a month ago with almost 70k for about 14,000 with the extended warranty. And its in good condition but not perfect. So it sounds good.

Well hello neighbor! I live in Cochran, GA and used to work at Robins Air plane patch. I retired last April. $15000 for the car does not sound too bad. Sent you a PM!

Nooooo. I was hoping he would start hurting and start begging me for the $8.00 I offered.

Seriously, it is sweet. A little bummed a local guy is selling it. Seemed like one of a handful of Detroit guys that would actually get together for a group hug.
