304 stainless steel, bright polish with Megs logo. 2.25” (ST627) or 2.50” inlet (ST627-250), 26” long, 3.50” outlet with rolled edge at a 27 degree angle. No resonator. Retail price $120 per tip ($240 per pair). Shipping cost, UPS Ground Continental US, $20 per pair. International orders (normal range $60-$120 depending on location).

Incentives:

Timing:
If enough orders are received, production would be early November and latest would be to ship prior to Mid-December. If we have not received enough orders then the program won't go forward.

Order Placement:
Right now we are just trying to gauge whether or not there is sufficient interest to start taking orders. If you are interested in getting in on the run, just post up a reply here with what size you are interested in. I'll be following the thread and when we get enough people interested I will post up instructions on how to place an order.

Way I read is 50 tips min per diameter to run. There is no interest in the 3.5" - everyone wants 4". Sure hope we don't need 100, that would suck!

I see your point regarding minimum to run. They are independent of each other, don't need to get 50 + 50, we need 50 pcs/25 sets to run each OF EITHER ONE. If we get enough of one, we run that size. If we get enough of both, great, we run both.

From experience we have several cancellations when it comes time to actually put up the money so in reality we need about 30 orders to get 25 firm sales.

OK! So it looks like we got the 50 pieces we would need in order to run production. If you had expressed interest, please take a look and make sure I have you on the list.

Someone asked to clarify the price, it is $261 with free shipping on pre-orders if you are in the USA. If you are in Kalifornia there will be an additional charge for sales tax.

Production: These are scheduled to be begin production in November, with completion in December. If business slows down and I can move them up in the schedule that would be considered but don't count on it.

Payment: In September, we'll ask everyone to call in with your payment information and formal order placement. Once we have received payment information on all the orders we'll begin production and charge all the cards. No charges will be made until it is 100% go.

There is a good chance that some of these good folks may drop out when payment time comes. The good thing is that we will continue to take orders up until production starts. I'd like to have about 5 extra orders to cover dropouts.

Well folks things are not looking good for this year's production run. With about a week and a half to go before I have to either begin production or cancel the slot, we have not received information from over half the people that said they were interested.

I need to have at least 15 more people send me their contact info or a run won't be possible this year. That would mean the next possible manufacture date wouldn't be until October 2014. This is a build to order production, we don't run any additional stock so once sold out, we're out until run again.

I just finished spending over $3000.00 supercharging my MM, and honestly forgot about this since its been a while. The car bank is closed on my end. Sorry once again.

Unfortunately not much new to post up since the last update. We're at 44 pcs as of now. Several people that had origianlly been interested dropped out and there are still 8 people that had been hot to order but haven't gotten back with any information or said they were dropping out.

I'm going to push the start back a week or two to see if we can't get enough people in on this finally. The bad part is that means we will also have to push the completion date back into the end of December. That usually mean longer shipping times due to the holidays. But maybe you can then put them under the Christmas tree so you have something to open on Christmas Day!

A couple people have suggested posting the offer on other forums. Unfortuantely most forums get fussy when companies post up commercial offers, we've been a sponsor here and so we are able to make offers to you all here. If any concerned citizens wanted to post up a link to this thread on their own on other forums, well...

Tip angle is slightly different, but other than that pretty much the same tip, and yes the inlet is 2.5" versus 2.25"

Still waiting to hear back from the last 10 buyers. Emails sent, voicemails left, hopefully they will call.

So it's looking shaky whether this will go or not. 40 people clamored for tips, 20 actually committed to orders, 10 have given payment info so far. If we do get this off the ground this year it will be the last run for at least a couple years. Whether it goes or not, there won't be a run next year.

I would have pulled the plug by now if it hadn't been for all the time invested so far. Tuesday next week will decide go/no go if we have not gotten enough people. No cards will be charged until AFTER decision is final, but only orders with cards called in will be considered serious.

Well here is where we are at and it isn't great. I'm still waiting to here from about 3 people. We've had several people finally call today but 5 were cancellations.

As of now we have only 12 people (24 tips) that people have called in their full information on. When I set this up we needed 50 tips sold in order to run. I dropped it to 40 when it was apparent we wouldn't get that many.

I hate to cancel the production as ya'll have been counting on it and I hate to not go forward after spending time trying to herd all these cats.

So here is what I am thinking. With the committed orders we now have, I can go forward with production IF we drop the 10% discount that was being offered. We'll still cover the free UPS Ground shipping.

IF YOU SUPPORT GOING FORWARD AND ARE WILLING TO LOSE THE 10% DISCOUNT, PLEASE SEND ME AN QUICK EMAIL ASAP AT RICH@CONEENG.COM. Please don't post here nor in a PM, I don't always get a chance to check in. I'll make a final decision Tuesday eve.

OK, 2 questions:
1. are guys cutting reliefs to get the 4" tips up into the bumper? they look odd so big hanging 2' long under the car
2. I sent an email, but if Rich can't help, anyone have a pair of 3.5" or 4" tips to help a late bloomer out?

Rich had 1 set of 4" left. 1st contact gets them. Give him a call to see if still available.
